IN MEMORIAM: PROTINICA NINA GARIC
Of Fair Oaks, CA, fell asleep in the Lord on Saturday, November 7, 2009. She had just celebrated her 89th birthday on October 19, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, V. Rev. Stavrophor Miladin Garic; nephew, Manojlo Garicof Sacramento; niece, Borka Pavlovic (Zharko) of Palo Alto, CA; Godson, William Weir (Mary Anne Plefka-Weir) of Sacramento; and the Parishioners of the Serbian Orthodox Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Fair Oaks, CA and the Parishioners of St. Sava Church in Jackson, CA.
Protinica Nina was a lifelong member of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Choir and a member of the Circle of Serbian Sisters. Her loving presence will be missed by all of us. May God grant her soul eternal peace where there is no sickness or sighing. Memory eternal, beloved Protinica Nina.
Trisagion Service will be held 6pm Wednesday, Nov. 11 at the Assumption Church in Fair Oaks. Funeral Service will be held at 10am Thursday, Nov. 12 at the Assumption Church in Fair Oaks, 7777 Sunset Ave., Fair Oaks, CA. Graveside Service will be held at 2:30pm in Jackson, CA, at the St. Sava Church Cemetery. Officiating at all services will be V. Rev. Stavrophor Dane Popovic and Rev. William Weir.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Fresco funds at either Assumption of the Virgin Mary Church in Fair Oaks or to St. Sava Church in Jackson.
